Mami herself is incredibly graceful in battle, but there is a danger to using her power. Soul Gems (which are literally the soul of it's Magical Girl) will corrupt and become Grief Seeds if left without rejuvenation for too long, turning the Magical Girl into a Witch. Witches possess the Grief Seeds which purify the Soul Gems and thus the cycle of Magical Girls continue. Due to the evident lack of Witches here, this is basically null and void with the state of Mami's Soul Gem being permanently frozen.[break][break] RIBBON MUSKET A flashy battle style for a flashy Magical Girl, Mami is able to summon a range of firearms at will in addition to using a form of yellow ribbon in her attacks. Her ribbons - named 'Regale' - extend from her clothes and can be removed at will to entrap an opponent. Her firearm attacks include 'Tiro Volley' (where she summons a large number of muskets and fires them at an opponent) and 'Tiro Finale' (where she summons a single large musket and sends a finishing attack at an enemy). In addition to these finishing attacks, she does have the ability to summon firearms normally and use them as per normal. Normal humans didn't see what you did, the didn't understand the terror of fighting each and every day. A girl with candy-pink hair and another with sky-blue... you had to help them. At least defend them well enough so they could escape from the world of the Witches and return to their everyday lives. [break][break] Instead Kyuubey offered them to become Magical Girls.[break][break] Somewhere deep inside, a light began to spark. A new fire in your heart had begun to burn. It was the possibility of company. Perhaps you wouldn't be lonely anymore. You could fight alongside these girls as allies and friends, oh you desperately wanted to do that. But it was dangerous and you couldn't force anyone to do something like that. The girls were hesitant and with good reason, but you offered to show them the ways of Magical Girls to help them make up their minds.
